About Amy

Amy believes that creativity is something we all possess. It is not just about making art; it is a way of exploring who we are, finding meaning in our experiences, and reconnecting with what makes us feel alive.

Amy's own creative journey began in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, and led to her study Printed Textiles and Decorative Arts before working as an artist, interior design consultant and teacher. Her travels through Mexico and India deeply influenced her artwork, inspiring richly layered paintings filled with texture, colour, pattern and symbolism.

For many years, Amy looked outward for inspiration. Then, following the loss of her father, she found herself turning inward.

Searching for a way to process grief and reconnect with herself, Amy discovered Creative Journaling. What began as a personal practice soon became a powerful tool for reflection, healing and self-discovery. Through journaling, she rediscovered her creative spark and found a new way of creating that was less about the finished piece and more about the process of exploration.

This experience inspired Amy to study on a Creative Arts Therapies Foundation Degree and later qualify as an Intuitive Psychology Coach. Over time, she began to recognise that the same qualities that support creativity also support personal growth. Through intuition, curiosity, and a willingness to explore, we can uncover new perspectives, move through challenges and reconnect with our authentic selves.

Today, alongside exhibiting her artwork, Amy facilitates Creative Journaling workshops, leads arts and wellbeing projects, and offers coaching to help others reconnect with their own creative spark.

Whether through art, journaling, or coaching, Amy's aim is to create supportive spaces where people can explore their creativity, deepen their self-awareness, and discover new possibilities for healing, growth and connection.
