I visited a great exhibition of Adela Breton's work at the Bristol Museum today. She travelled and worked at archaeological sites in Mexico making full-size colour copies of ancient Mexican ruins in the late 19th century. She was a remarkable woman for her time and travelled the country, sketching the landscape and the archaeological ruins which are recognised as being of great importance for Mesoamerican studies today. Its on until May 14th. https://www.bristolmuseums.org.uk/bristol-museum-and-art-gallery/whats-on/adela-breton/
